Commercial Vehicle Magazine's unveiling of the results for the "Chinese Truck of the Year Evaluation" took place in Wuhan on November 8, 2023. The prestigious "2024 Chinese Truck of the Year (CTOY 2024)" award was claimed by Beijing Trucks Fuxing due to its outstanding performance in intelligent fuel conservation, safety enhancements, and tailored features.
Entering the domestic heavy truck scene in May 2023, Beijing Trucks Fuxing swiftly gained global recognition. Empowered by i-Beijing's digital intelligence technology, it transformed the stagnant heavy truck sector, introducing numerous performance breakthroughs and cost-effective, efficiency-oriented solutions, earning unanimous applause from users.
Aerodynamic design
Participating in the evaluation was the Beijing Trucks Fuxing 6×4 tractor, making a grand entrance with its robust build and extensive technological sophistication. Featuring multiple aerodynamic improvements, it achieved a drag coefficient as low as 0.52Cd, surpassing similar models by 10%. Its lightweight design significantly reduced vehicle weight, enhancing fuel efficiency notably. Notable features included an 8-airbag rear air suspension, aluminum alloy wheels, and a spacious flat-floor cab, setting a new standard within the domestic heavy-duty truck category.
Power, safety and comfort
The Beijing Trucks Fuxing excelled in power, maneuverability, and comfort, showcasing remarkable advantages. Equipped with the Foton Cummins X13 engine, ZF Traxon AMT transmission, and efficient rear axle, it boasted an advanced digital intelligent power chain known for its reliability. Meticulous control and integrated tuning resulted in potent, smooth shifting. Its safety features comprised ventilated disc brakes, AEBS braking system, tire pressure monitoring, tire burst emergency braking, tire burst emergency protection device, forward collision warning system, and lane departure warning system, significantly enhancing overall safety. Additionally, it boasted a 12.3-inch AI assistant large digital screen, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, 360-degree full perception imaging, blind spot monitoring, fatigue monitoring, and an auxiliary ramp start function, elevating its intelligent maneuvering capabilities.
Beijing Trucks Fuxing celebrates success
Across power, fuel efficiency, comfort, maneuverability, braking, and safety, Beijing Trucks Fuxing perfectly aligns with user requirements, earning unanimous acclaim from trunk express and cold chain logistics industries.
